Shoplifting suspect accused of bringing meth into jail in Jonesborough

Police said a shoplifting suspect tried to smuggle two bags of crystal meth into the Washington County, Tennessee Detention Center in Jonesborough.

Tammy Lee Mathena, 51. of Elizabethton, faces an additional count of introduction of contraband after deputies discovered the baggies as she was being processed.
