Kingsport BMA Moving Closer To Shipp Springs Annexation

Kingsport’s Board of Mayor and Alderman is one step closer to annexing 71 acres of property off of Shipp Springs Road. The board met Tuesday night and approved the measure on first reading. The annexation would allow for the development of more than 500 residential units, including 281 single family units and 300 apartments. The proposed annexation will now be voted on a second and final time on March 21.
