Block Tok: Bill to ban popular app on Tennessee college WIFI heads to governor

A bill co-sponsored by Bristol Senator Jon Lundberg banning the Tik Tok app from use on college WIFI networks in Tennessee is on its way to Governor Lee’s desk.

The legislation bans the popular social media platform and any other Chinese-based web product from those servers.

At last check, 25 states in the US and more than a half dozen foreign countries have blocked Tik Tok on government computer systems.
