Police: Johnson City woman bilks more than $1,000 from woman in her care

A Johnson City woman is accused of taking financial advantage of a woman that has been in her care.

Investigators said Gaye Durst cashed one of the victim’s personal checks and made several purchases with her credit card that added up to more than $1,300.

Durst is charged with identity theft, multiple counts of credit card fraud, and forgery.
