Bristol superintendent hired as new leader of Washington County, Virginia Schools
The current Superintendent of Bristol Virginia Public Schools is leaving that post for the same position in Washington County, Virginia.
Keith Perrigan was offered a contract as part of the hiring process during a school board special-called meeting on Monday. This year marks Perrigan’s 27th year in education where he has also served as a teacher and principal. One of his previous jobs was as administration leader of Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring.
Perrigan will begin his role in Abingdon on July 1.
