Car Break-ins In Kingsport Neighborhood Leads To Stolen Guns

Four auto break-ins in a Kingsport neighborhood results in two stolen handguns being taken from the unlocked vehicles. Kingsport Police report a Ruger 357 revolver was reported missing on Kaylee Lane and a Springfield XDS Pistol was lifted from a vehicle off Joshua Lane both in the Edinburgh Community of Kingsport. Police say that in all four reports, the responding officer states the vehicles were all unlocked at the time of the theft. The department says most stolen or burglarized vehicles are left unlocked or have valuable items left in plane view.
