Police: Man takes merchandise from Johnson City store while pulling knife on clerk

A Kingsport, Tennessee man is charged with threatening a Johnson City convenience store clerk at knifepoint earlier this month.

Stephen Hensley was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the April 3rd incident at the Scotchman market on South Broadway Street.

Hensley is accused of bringing merchandise to the counter and then pulling the knife out before exiting the store.
