Greene County police arrest suspect involved in Washington County pursuit with officers

A suspect wanted on multiple charges including aggravated assault on a police officer in Washington County, Tennessee was captured in Greene County.

Steven Ronnie Howard, 37, of Knoxville, is accused of trying to drive into a police cruiser head-on in a stolen car earlier this week during a pursuit on Highway 11-E where he almost struck several motorists.

Howard later ditched the vehicle but police took the passenger into custody. He later gave details on Howard and his ties to Greene County.
