Greeneville Resident, And California Felon Arrested By Johnson City Authorities

A convicted felon from Greene County, wanted out of California is scheduled for arraignment after being arrested on a weapon and drug charge, plus falsely reporting to police. Johnson City Police arrested Dennis Ramirez after responding to a call of a prowler. Police encountered Ramirez, who attempted to run but was apprehended as he tried to get into a vehicle. Ramirez then provided police with a false name. During a search officers located a loaded firearm on Ramirez and a baggie containing what is thought to be meth.
