Carter County, Two Vehicle Crash Claims The Life Of One, Injures Another

One person is dead and another injured following a Monday morning, two vehicle crash in Carter County. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek was traveling north on Mary Patton Highway when it crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Ford Taurus driven by 19 year old Justus Brown. Brown, who was wearing a seatbelt died as a result of the crash that closed that section of the roadway during morning commute. The driver of the Subaru was injured. Charges are pending according to THP.
