County Inmates To Use New Drug Treatment And Therapy To Address Addiction
Washington County Tennessee Commissioners give their approval to a new substance abuse program for jail inmates that will allow those incarcerated in Washington County to work on their mental health and fight addiction at the same time. With the help of Families Free Incorporated and funds from the Tennessee Department of Health, inmates participating in the program will use the drug Vivitrol to help block the effects of alcohol and opioid addiction while receiving trauma therapy and mental health recovery while serving time.
