UPDATE: Victim found over Hawkins County embankment was victim of homicide

Preliminary autopsy results from a body discovered Sunday in Hawkins County show homicide as the cause of death.
A report from Sheriff Ronnie Lawson’s office said the victim was identified as 29-year-old Tyler H. Nelms of Church Hill. His body was at the bottom of an embankment and was spotted by a caller who informed them of the discovery at Sensabaugh Hollow Road.
The TBI is assisting Hawkins County in the case.
