One wounded in Saltville shooting

Few details have been released concerning a Monday shooting in the town of Saltville.

A report from the Smyth County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was located in the 2000 block of Hillman Highway with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Investigators said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
