UPDATE: Father and son in custody, charged in death of Johnson City store clerk

A father and son from Johnson City are scheduled to be arraigned in Sessions Court after they were arrested Tuesday and charged in the death of a convenience store clerk one week ago.

41-year-old Mark Anthony Sexton and 18-year-old Mark Anthony Sexton III are both charged with the first-degree murder of Tava Woodard who was killed during a robbery at Roadrunner on Broadway Friday morning.

Sexton III is also charged with possession of a firearm during a felony and tampering with evidence.

A celebration of life for Woodard is scheduled for Saturday
