Bluff City Leaders, Join The Crowd, Raise Property Tax Ten Percent
Like other municipalities in the region, homeowners in Bluff City Tennessee will be paying more on their property taxes as city leaders approved a ten percent hike. Home owners are paying one dollar and 18 cents on every hundred dollars of assessed value. When the new tax goes into effect that figure will jump to one dollar and thirty cents per one hundred dollars. The increase will help to pay for a three percent pay increase for town employees based on performance.
