SW Virginia driver dies from injuries in Carroll County crash

A State Police report says a man hospitalized after a Carroll County crash last month died from his injuries. Gary Gravley, 60, of Hillsville, passed away Saturday at Wake Forest Medical Center. A preliminary report said Gerald Stockner, 77, also of Hillsville, pulled his SUV into the path of Gravley’s truck on Highway 58. The crash remains under review. Stockner is charged with failing to yield the right of way.
