Carter County Schools Consolidate For New Year

Carter county schools head back Friday, and some students will be attending a different school after the Board of Education approved a consolidation plan earlier this year. Students who went to Keenburg Elementary will now go to Central or Hunter Elementary. Little Milligan Elementarys 6th–8th graders will now attend Hampton Elementary. School heads at both schools said they have had days to meet and welcome the transitioning students to their new schools.
