CSX’s Santa Train ready for its 81st trek down the tracks

Santa has given the signal for elves to fill up cargo holds in three months time, planning his 81st trip through the mountains of Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee.

Nov. 18 has been scheduled as the annual Santa Train travel day. The CSX special will carry 15 tons of toys and other items to distribute along the 110-mile trek.
