YWCA receives grant to address the addiction crisis
The YWCA NETN & SWVA has received a grand to help with addiction recovery in SWVA. Addressing the ongoing addiction crisis is a focus of YWCA and now $500,000 has been awarded to the organization by the Appalachian Regional Commission to help with the implementation of the Power House Community Wellness and Resource Center. It will serve Washington and Smyth counties in Southwest Virginia. The funding will be used to make investments that will help strengthen services in recovery and also help facilitate workforce entry and re-entry.
