Member of Mexico-to-SW Virginia meth ring pleads guilty to federal charges
A Marion, Virginia man is facing up to 25 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges in US District Court in Abingdon.
Prosecutors said Brian Cory Hoover, 34, would travel to Atlanta twice a month and pickup 10 pounds of meth each trip to sell in Southwest Virginia.
Several other members of that drug operation have been arrested. Hoover was brought back to the US after his capture in Mexico in June.
