UPDATE: U.S. Marshal: Circumstances of fugitive Sean Williams escape raises questions
Greene county authorities continue to search for escaped federal prisoner Sean Williams and believe he “would do anything in his power to not be captured,” David Jolley, Marshal for the Eastern District of Tennessee, told reporters several times that he has “a lot of questions about how this happened” Williams faces multiple federal and state charges related to child sexual assault, child pornography production and drug trafficking. He kicked out the back window of a van that was transporting him to U.S. District Court in Greeneville for a hearing Wednesday. Jolley aid the circumstances have left him and those investigating exactly how the escape happened, working hard to find answers as the search continues in the Greeneville area, hoping for any sign of the 51-year-old Williams. The TBI is offering up to a $2500 reward, and if you think you see Williams, or anything at all suspicious to contact authorities immediately. All tips are being fully investigated.
