Stadium improvements for some Washington county schools
The Washington County Commission voted 14 to 1 to approve a resolution for funding for Washington County Tennessee Schools. Washington County commissioners met Monday to discuss the approval of $3.4 million to be used for improvements to the county’s high school stadiums. This is phase one of a project that will upgrade the sports experience for fans at the stadiums. Renovations will take place at Daniel Boone High School and David Crockett High School. The plans include replacing the home-side grandstands which will involve removing the concrete bleachers and putting in new, metal bleachers. The plans will also add new restrooms and concessions under the new grandstands.
