Federal fugitive Sean Williams captured in Florida
Federal escapee and accused child rapist Sean Williams is in custody after being on the run for over a month. Williams was tracked by a K-9 officer and his handler, according to the FBI. He was taken into custody, without incident, around 9 p.m. in Pinellas County, Florida, hiding under a tarp near a 7-Eleven. He reportedly was recognized by someone inside the store. Williams was spotted at a shopping center in Sylva, North Carolina last Friday. Williams escaped custody more than a month ago, from Greeneville, Tennessee while being transported to a federal court hearing. Williams has been indicted on federal child porn production charges and state child rape charges and is also a central figure in a lawsuit filed by multiple victims against the Johnson City Police Department.
