Johnson County fatality in weekend crash

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports a woman is dead after a crash in Johnson County. A Chevy Equinox was traveling east on Prison Camp Road shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday morning when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle’s passenger, Kelsey R. Cox, died as a result and driver was injured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says charges are pending.
