Emory & Henry Marching Band travels abroad

Emory & Henry College’s marching band, staff and alumni departed for France Wednesday. The college says that the nearly 100 on the week long trip makes it one of the largest trips abroad ever taken. One of the biggest performances for the band in France is at the American Cemetery in Normandy. The band will also be taking part in a wreath laying service to honor the American servicemen who lost their lives storming the beaches of Normandy.
