Volunteers to meet Hawkeyes in New Year’s Day Citrus Bowl

The Tennessee Vols will be taking on the University of Iowa in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day. Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan announced Sunday that Tennessee would be facing the Hawkeyes in Orlando Florida at Camping World Stadium on Jan. 1. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. Tennessee finished its season 8-4, with the Hawkeyes going 10-3. Going into the bowl game, Tennessee is ranked 21st while the Hawkeyes are ranked 17th. The Vols beat the Hawkeyes in their last bowl game match up in 2015.
