TDOT 10 year plan includes Tri Cities roadways
Around 255 million dollars in costs in the Tri-Cities, is included in the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s first 10-Year Project Plan. Projects are to include the widening of Sullivan State Route 126, Reconstruction for Sullivan State Route 93, Hawkins State Route 31, Hawkins State Route 66 and also money allocated for Knob Creek Road Improvements in Washington County. Discussions for the Knob Creek improvements have been going on since the early ’90’s and are now scheduled to begin in 2027.
