14 deaths linked to winter storm in TN

The Tennessee Department of Health now confirming a total of 14 deaths as a result of this week’s winter storm. That’s according to the latest update from the TEMA. Two of those deaths involved a head on collision between a pick up truck and Ambulance in Jonesborough on Monday. TEMA’s Emergency Operations Center in Nashville is activated at a Level 4 to support local requests. Wednesday Gov. Bill Lee, declared a State of Emergency to provide commercial vehicles transporting livestock, poultry, and feed for the livestock and poultry, relief from hours of service until Jan. 27. A second round of winter weather is set to start Thursday evening.
