Sheriff: Bodies recovered in Chuckey subdivision

The bodies of a male and female have been recovered in a subdivision in Greene County.

Sheriff Wesley Holt’s report said the woman’s remains were found Thursday inside of a residence and a male body was found Friday morning in a wooded area when officers returned to the 500 block of Chuckey Drive.

Holt says there is no danger to the public. The bodies have been transported for autopsy. The TBI is assisting in the case.
