Bristol TN Police Department sexual harassment investigation underway

Multiple Bristol, Tennessee police officers are suspended with pay as the Bristol Tennessee Police Department conducts an investigation into allegations of possible sexual harassment involving officers and members of departments adult volunteer auxiliary unit. Media reports say an internal investigation began on Jan. 29 and a department spokesperson said “there have been no allegations of any conduct that is criminal in nature.” Officials sited investigation integrity and the pending outcome as the reasons for no other details are being made available at this time.
