The trigger man at a 2015 shooting in a Johnson City convenience store parking lot was sentenced to life in prison.
District Attorney Steve Finney said 38-year-old Christopher T. Horton was ordered to serve 100 percent of the sentence.
Horton and Anthony Hardaway, who drove the getaway car, were arrested and charged in the death of 38-year-old Perry Folks who was pronounced dead at the store on Unaka Avenue. Hardaway was convicted on a conspiracy charge.
