Third suspect charged in January Johnson City shooting

A suspect in a Johnson City shooting in January has been extradited from Charlotte to face charges.

A city police report said Yeshua Hawkins, 20, was taken into custody on March 4th.

Hawkins was officially charged this week with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection to the Jan. 8 incident on Van Brocklin Way that left the victim with non-life threatening injuries.

Two other suspects identified as Aiden Debord and Timothy Blake were taken into custody earlier this year.
