Kingsport dad charged with kidnapping of 8-month-old

An infant identified as an endangered child by the Kingsport Police Department has been located.

A city report said 8-month-old Sephrona McCullough was found in North Carolina with the child’s father, Mason McCullough, 22, and is charged with especially aggravated kidnapping.

Investigators said the father had promised to return his daughter to the child’s mother on April 19 after leaving the region from Lynn Garden on Apr. 14.
