Soldier missing since 1950, laid to rest in Pennington Gap
An American hero was brought home and finally laid to rest in Pennington Gap. Private first-class Harold Wilder fought in the Korean War in 1950. He was only 19 years old when he was reported missing in combat. His remains were identified last year and were escorted from Korea to a dignified transfer ceremony in Knoxville last Friday. When wilder was killed he had 13 siblings with only one brother still alive to attend the ceremony.
