Man tased and arrested for breaking Order of Protection

Washington County Tennessee Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 36 year old William Ramsey and charged him with Violation Order of Protection along with Resisting and Evading Arrest. On April 29th, Deputies responded to a Violation Order of Protection on C.D. Williams Road. Witness’s said Ramsey entered the residence and ran when Deputies arrived. The victim has an active Order of Protection against Ramsey from an April 5th incident.  Deputies located Ramsey hiding under a mattress on the front porch when he attempted to run back into the home and he was tased and taken into custody. Ramsey is being held on a $31,000 bond and will appear in court on April 30.
