One killed after Weaver Pike crash

One person has died as the result of a Friday afternoon two-vehicle crash on Weaver Pike in Bristol, Tennessee.

The preliminary city report said the wreck occurred just before 11 a.m. in the 900 block of the highway. A total of three patients were transported to an area hospital.

One of them was pronounced dead at the medical center. More information will be released when family members are notified.
