ETSU Men’s Golf receives apology from airline
The ETSU men’s golf team received an apology from Delta Airlines and another contracted company, Unifi Aviation, for the way staff handled the team’s golf bags. The men’s golf team is in California for the NCAA Championship. They posted video showing handlers carelessly tossing the team’s bags containing their clubs and other personal belongings. ETSU Athletic Director Richard Sander said a few bags were damaged, but no clubs. The team says it accepts the apologies and is ready to focus on the National Championship.
