Past Bristol Night Race winner Tony Stewart closing his racing operations
Tony Stewart has many connections to Bristol Motor Speedway personally and professionally.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame member on Tuesday announced the closure of his racing operations with partner Gene Haas following the last race of 2024.
Stewart has one victory as a driver and three as a car owner at Bristol. All of them came during the Bristol Night Race. His other connection to Bristol; his first NASCAR Cup championship in 2011 made him the first owner-driver to win the title since the late Alan Kulwicki.
Stewart is sure to get a lot of media attention when he comes to Bristol in two weeks for the Super Grip Thunder Valley Nationals, competing in the Top Fuel division.
