Transformer transports to impact Bristol, Tennessee traffic

Bristol Tennessee Essential Services is transporting an electric transformer to its new substation and that journey will impact some roadways Thursday morning.

An agency report said the oversized loads will need the use of Anderson Street, Highway 421, and Highway 394.

Moving day will begin at 8 a.m. and some temporary road closures will be enacted. Another transformer will be moved on Monday on the same route and schedule.
