Girlfriend of Hampton murder suspect charged

The girlfriend of a murder suspect captured in Louisiana last week has been charged with accessory after the fact and coercion or persuasion of a witness in connection with the case and is now in jail. 30 year old Amanda Quillen of Hampton was arrested in New Orleans on May 24 along with Jim Chambers, and the pair ;then extradited to Carter County. Chambers faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of 64-year-old Edward Elliott, whose body was discovered buried in a freezer May 15. Joey Lee Guinn was arrested and also charged on May 15th. The investigation is still active.
