Telford shooting suspect sent to prison for 35 years

The suspect in a 2022 shooting in Telford had his first-degree murder charge reduced as part of a plea bargain with prosecutors.

Judge Lisa Rice accepted the agreement and sentenced 42-year-old David Story to 35 years in prison for second-degree murder.

Story admitted to killing 43-year-old Tara Roberts with a single gunshot to the head.
