Juneteenth celebration planned for Saturday in Kingsport

The Kingsport Chamber is planning a Juneteenth celebration for this Saturday. The Juneteenth Community Festival will be in Downtown Kingsport across from the Kingsport Center for Higher Education Saturday, with events planned from 1 p.m. til 9 p.m. A unity walk will precede the start of the festival with walkers meeting at the center at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to bring seating and enjoy events throughout the day including kids activities and a host of live entertainment.
