Boswell issued new murder indictment for death of toddler daughter
Child murder suspect Megan Boswell was presented with a new indictment for first-degree murder Thursday accusing her of devising a plot to kill her toddler daughter Evelyn four years ago.
Boswell pleaded not guilty during a hearing in Sullivan County Criminal Court where her attorney Gene Scott requested a change of venue for her future trial. That discussion is scheduled on August 15.
Boswell is accused of lying to investigators numerous times about Evelyn’s whereabouts for several weeks until the child’s body was found. TBI agents testified the body was wrapped in a quilt and placed head first into a container on family property.
