2 injured in Carter County Crash

The THP says Two people were injured after a head-on crash on US 19 East in Carter County Thursday. Troopers responded to US 19 East at Tiger Creek Road regarding a head-on crash just before 9 p.m. A Chevrolet 3500 and a Chevrolet 1500 collided head-on in a curve. Both drivers were injured and taken to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment with one driver requiring air transport. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
