Woman charged for bringing drugs into detention center
Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies have charged 34 year old Chandra Rae Cable with Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility. Authorities say Cable was being booked into the Washington County Detention Center at around 3 a.m. on June 25 after another agency brought her to the Detention Center for multiple charges including DUI . During the intake process, two baggies containing unknown substances were discovered in Cable’s body. Cable told the Officer the substances were “not even hers” and that she was holding the baggies for another individual. Cable then identified the substances as methamphetamine and Xanax. she is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
