KPD: Man injured in Friday crash has died

Kingsport police report a driver injured in a crash Friday has died. 25 year old, Noah Pence, of Kingsport, died at Johnson City Medical Center Sunday evening. The crash occurred around 4:45 a.m. on S. John B. Dennis Highway just south of Fort Henry Drive. The vehicle hit a bridge railing on the left side of the road for unknown reasons. Pence over corrected, hit another vehicle then went off the right side of the road, hitting a tree and catching fire. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. Pence’s body was taken to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center for autopsy. The crash remains under investigation.
