Police: Officers find 2K Fentanyl pills in Bristol traffic stop

A Bristol, Virginia woman is taken to jail after investigators found 2,000 Fentanyl pills in her vehicle.

A city police report said a K9 officer alerted officers to drugs possibly being located within the car.

Jessica Pruitt, 35, was jailed after that traffic stop and is charged with possession with intent to distribute.

The Sullivan County TN 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Washington County Virginia Sheriffs Office assisted in this arrest, according to the statement.
