Kingsport welcomes “Jeeps on the Lawn” later this month

Time to polish up your Jeep. The Kingsport Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Jeeps on the Lawn event later this month at Allandale Mansion. The event is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on September 29 and the cost to register a Jeep is $10. There is no charge for spectators. Each Jeep registered will be “ducked” and awards will be given for Best In Show and Best Custom Jeep. Registered Jeeps need to arrive between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. To register visit kingsport parks and recreation dot org.
