Wise County EMA Facebook page compromised

The Wise County Emergency Management Agency has released a statement indicating that it’s Facebook page has been compromised. The statement says the page was “compromised by an unauthorized user” and has been reported to Facebook and other agencies. The agency is advising members of the community to ignore any posts made from it’s Facebook page until further notice. Those who would like official and accurate updates from the agency are asked to visit the county’s official website or check other official Wise County social media accounts.
