Sheriff: Two arrested, $30K in meth off the streets
A pound of methamphetamine with a street value of $30,000 is off the streets after a traffic stop in Washington County, Virginia.
A report from Sheriff Blake Andis’ office said Amber Flowers, 39, of Meadowview, and Michael Widener, 41, of Abingdon, face multiple charges for possession of narcotics and carrying weapons.
They were taken into custody after a K9 officer alerted deputies to possible drugs inside the vehicle. Andis said this case was part of an long-term operation to stop drug trafficking in the county.
